Expanded thermoplastic polyurethane (E-TPU)-is produced by the expansion of air in rubber material called TPU. TPU beads are pressure heated at 150℃ the temperature of softening point of TPU. CO2 blowing agent is impregnated into Soft Segment which results in expansion of TPU. In this process, the original particles can expand to 6-9 times bigger, and each of TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane material) particle expands like popcorn. Thus E-TPU turn to an oval and non-cross linked foamed particle.
E-TPU are ultralight and Eco-friendly material and offers a perfect combination of soft texture ,good abrasion resistance, bending resistance ,great elasticity and anti-yellowing. E-TPU is widely used for applications requiring high durability because of its excellent mechanical properties such as track saddles, tyres, padel tennis racquets, Sole inserts, safety shoes, cushioning mats, knee and joint protection machine and apring elements, drivers, vibration damping and so on.
